Building the infrastructure or modernizing the military?

I was going through the news and I noticed a column on India’s $30bn plans for the military modernization. Hang on a second, last week there was kind of peaceful talks between two counterparts of India and Pakistan in Egypt. Prior to that, about 2months a go there was an announcement of peace fire among the LTTE and the government of Sri Lanka.

The history has demonstrated that, any nation has either a choice to tackle the economical issues or the political matters. In this financial turmoil and India’s devastating economy, couldn’t the infrastructure projects be taken rather than military options?

So, what could be the real reason of this military improvement plans for India? Preparation for what so called “war on terror” or maybe another civil war in the region?

Who is telling the truth? Davide Hume or Muhammed Ahmed?

Maybe some of my friends are getting obsessed, some may get anxious and some may feel irritated of me! Well, in case you are not included those who are really making the religion sensitized, please respond me back, otherwise I advise you to have a quick look at David Hume’s theory on religion or read some notes on Marx’s theory of alienations.

David Hume believes, religion differences deflect people’s mind sets from political matters.

Let me inspire you by some examples through the history. The collapse of Roman Empire did happen due to the religion conflicts generated by a group of Christian people called Arians against Catholics. The first jihad did happen in Sudan in 1844 as the purpose of invading countries to extend the Islamic constitution throughout the world.

Don’t you think that the concept of religion it self, has been misused as the only factor to rule the world and invade the nations?

Religion or Technology?

I think all of us are pretty familiar with Twitter, Face book, Youtube and so on. The wide coverage and demonstration arrangements of Iranian protesters in one side, the sweet seller who tweets her locations to the subscribers on the other side, are the amazing applications of the hinted channels.

I was just dazzled by this fast track technology. What is going to be the next? Don’t you think the technology is substituting the culture drivers such as religion, race, education, morals and so on?

Just think about it, let’s just picture 20 years ago. What could really unite the people? Nice music, movie, or a final league of football match? Or maybe the religion beliefs? Ok, how about 50 years ago? Don’t you think, the technology is really substituting every thing to merge the globe and unite people in one direction?

It’s been a long time we are evidenced by different theories such as big bang and so on which really is undermining religion beliefs. Don’t you think the new channel which got the duty to unite the people, is going to be technical channels, instead of religion beliefes?
